SAN ANTONIO — It was another hard-fought battle by the Sul Ross State women's soccer team Saturday morning.
The Lobos were edged out by the Texas A&M-San Antonio Jaguars, 2-1.
Texas A&M-San Antonio scored the first goal in the 23rd minute when Arissa Perez broke the ice.
Sul Ross put up a fight on defense to trail by one goal at halftime.
Yissel Olivares tied up the game for the Lobos in the 69th minute.
Ten minutes later, the Jaguars got a goal from Ana Barragan, which proved to be the game winner.
Sul Ross had nine shots, with five coming on the mark. Defensively, goalkeeper
Geraldine Rubio tallied four saves.
