Sul Ross State University has hired Reagan Ridlehuber to join its Athletic Training staff as Assistant Athletic Trainer.

She will join the staff on June 1.

"I am extremely grateful for this opportunity," said Ridlehuber. "I am excited to join the Lobo family!"

Ridlehuber comes from Howard Payne University after graduating with honors in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. She later accepted a graduate assistant position and stayed at HPU for another year.

As the graduate assistant, Reagan worked with all athletics teams on campus with a focus on soccer, baseball, and basketball.

Ridlehuber also worked with Abilene Bone and Joint and was contracted to a local high school as the athletic trainer for the football and basketball seasons.

"Anya and I are very excited to have Reagan join the team," said Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer Billy Ray Laxton. "We look forward to her helping us continue to bolster our healthcare efforts and services!"

Reagan is a native of Frisco, TX, is currently working on her Masters of Education in Sport and Wellness Leadership, and is a nationally certified and licensed athletic trainer in the state of Texas.
