RICHARDSON, Texas - Men's soccer ended its first tournament appearance with a 4-0 loss to UT Dallas on Friday in the ASC Quarterfinals.
Goalkeeper
Alexis Tellez faced a flurry of shots in the first half, saving one of the two on goal. The Comets broke the 0-0 tie with a 29th minute goal for a 1-0 lead going to the second half.
Tellez faced a total of 17 shots with nine on goal in the second half and saved six as UTD scored three more goals for a 4-0 win over the Lobos.
Sully finished the season at 2-5-1, marking their best winning percentage in program history (.357).
Sully took home two ASC West Player of the Week awards with goalkeeper
Cesar Sanchez and forward
Nana Prempeh both receiving the honor on March 3.
