ALPINE, Texas - Cesar Sanchez saved a game-high seven shots for the Lobos in a 0-0 double overtime tie against visiting Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Sully put up a total of 12 shots with eight on goal.

They started strong in the first half with five shots on goal but were held scoreless. Sanchez was equally formidable in net with four saves for a 0-0 tie heading to the break.

The Crusaders made a goalie change at the half and again held the Lobos scoreless after three shots on goal. Sanchez continued his strong start to the season, shutting out UMHB with a pair of saves in the second half as the game went to overtime.

Sully put one shot on goal in the first extra period and their defense held the Crusaders to none.

The second overtime saw only two shots from the Crusaders but neither were on goal as the game finished in a 0-0 tie.

Sanchez saved a game-high seven shots after 110 minutes in goal. He finished with his second shutout of the season. His first came in a 1-0 win in their season opener on Friday, February 26 against Howard Payne.

Nana Prempeh finished with team-highs of four shots and three on goal.

Arturo Madrid finished with three shots and two on goal. Daniel Torres also put two on goal.

The Lobos move to 1-0-1 on the season and 1-0-1 in ASC play. UHMB stands at 2-0-1 and 0-0-1.

Sully now awaits Concordia on Friday, March 5 for a 2:30 p.m. kick at Lobo Field.
