JACKSON, MS- 14 shots with nine on goal was not enough as the Lady Lobos fell 2-0 to Belhaven Saturday in Jackson.
The Blazers were able to get on the board once in each half.
Pepper Ann FIlbert scored unassisted at the 29:49 mark of the first half.
Filbert also added an assist as she set up Sarah Chastain's goal at 69:26 in the second half.
Sully was not without opportunities as
Nuvia Guillen,
Joanna Estrada and
Rebecca Esquivel each put two shots on goal.
Alitzel Ybarra played the entire game in goal and notched six saves on 16 shots.
The Lady Lobos stand at 2-5-3 on the season and 1-2-1 in conference play. The Blazers improve to 7-4-1 and 2-2-0.
Sully embarks on another road trip this Thursday when they head to Austin to take on Concordia.
