At 2-1, the Sul Ross State University women's soccer team opens American Southwest Conference play this week in the second half of a four-game home stand.

Following back-to-back victories last week against visiting Wayland Baptist and Schreiner, Sul Ross will face seventh-ranked Hardin-Simmons University in the conference opener Thursday before taking on McMurry University on Saturday.
