Sul Ross State women's soccer will take on U.T. Dallas in the first round of the American Southwest Conference Women's Soccer Championship tournament.

The October 31 contest begins at 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting) at the Comet Soccer Complex.

Sully enters Tuesday's playoff as the No. 6 seed while the host Comets sit at No. 3.

The Lady Lobos will look to avenge a 4-0 shutout home loss to the Comets on October 21.

At 15-3 overall and 10-2 in the ASC, U.T. Dallas is riding high posting five straight shutout victories including a 1-0 win over East Texas Baptist in the regular season finale on Oct. 28.

Sul Ross ended the season with a three-game slump including a 3-2 conference setback at Concordia last Saturday.

Despite the skid, the Lady Lobos have posted their first winning season (8-6-1, 6-5-1) and their second consecutive playoff appearance in just their third year of competition.
