ALPINE, Texas- The Sul Ross women's soccer team (5-6-1, 3-4-1 ASC) dropped a 4-1 conference decision Thursday to visiting Mary Hardin-Baylor (9-3-1, 6-1-0 ASC).
The Lady Lobos will play their final home game of the regular season against Concordia at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
The Crusaders put up the first three goals of the game, all in the first half, as UMHB's Sarah Kopp, Jessie Simmonds and Sarah Rempe all scored unassisted.
A left foot shot from the box by
Lauren Ebbs (Dublin, Ireland) was the only point Sul Ross could muster. Ebbs' shot was unassisted coming at the 57th minute.
The Cru's Caitlyn Shaughnessy nailed the final goal off a tap shot at the 78th minute.
Ebbs fired off six shots with five on goal.
