AUSTIN, Texas- Concordia's Madison Hoskins scored the first of two goals as the home team Tornadoes defeated Sul Ross 2-0 in ASC competition Thursday afternoon.
Hoskins score came off a cross kick off the endline from Saray Mondizagon late in the opening half.
Skylar Larkin then scored roughly ten minutes into the closing period on another assist by Mondizagon, this time on a wide pass that Larkin was able to nail from the far post.
The Lady Lobos recorded nine saves but struggled to find their mark with less than five shots on goal compared to Concordia's 11.
Sul Ross drops to 2-8 on the season and 2-6 in league play and will face Mary Hardin-Baylor at 1 p.m. Saturday in Belton.
